Delete your Vaani account

This page is for the Vaani Android app (package name: com.viena.vaani), published on Google Play by Viena.

Use these steps to request that your Vaani account and associated data are deleted.

Steps to request that your account is deleted

Guest users who tapped Skip for now and never signed in with Google do not have a Vaani account. There is no account to delete.

Data that is deleted

When we complete your request, we delete:

• Your Vaani account
• Name from Google Sign-In
• Email address from Google Sign-In
• Google user ID used to identify your Vaani account
• Google profile photo URL, if one was provided
• Vaani sign-in session for that account

Data that is not deleted

• Your Google account itself is not deleted. Only your Vaani account with Viena is removed.
• Microphone audio used for speech practice and translation is processed in real time and is not kept after the request finishes, so there is no audio recording to delete.

Retention period

After we confirm your request, we delete the account data listed above. We aim to complete this within 30 days. We do not keep that account data for a longer retention period after deletion is complete.
